Organizing training programmes to improve access to basic services for all
The IHRA, as an institute that provides education to employees, provides access to all employee categories in the country through the Bachelor of Labour Management Degree Programme. The IHRA successfully conducted 4 workshops on “Service Learning” to Undergraduates of the Faculty of Science-University of Colombo, Principals of the National Institute of Education, School teachers at St. Clare’s College- Wellawatta and Master’s students of the Service Management Programme of the IHRA. This series of workshops was conducted in January 2020, and AUA Scholar Prof. Vishalachchi Balakrishnan, Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Education at the University of Malaya in Malaysia, participated as the resource person.
