The General Administration Division functions as the central coordinating body of the university. It provides essential support to the university community in both academic and administrative activities and plays a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the entity.
GENERAL FUNCTIONS
- Providing transport services, maintaining university vehicles and preparing cost estimate reports for vehicle usage.
- Managing and maintaining the record room of the College House.
- Administrating postal services for the entire university community.
- Oversee the booking and usage of the College House Board Rooms, Senate Hall and Auditorium.
- Coordinate trade union meetings and maintain related documentation.
- Issuing academic cloaks for general and postgraduate convocations and rent cloaks for other eligible parties.
- Processing payments related to utility services, including electricity, water and related bills.
- Coordinating all aspects of cleaning and janitorial operations across the university.
- Conduct the annual verification of university assets and arrange the disposal of obsolete items.
- Providing security services for all university premises.
- Maintain the university’s internal and external communication systems.
- Monitor and manage all tasks related to service agreements.
