Inauguration Ceremony of the Postgraduate and Mid-Career Development Unit – Faculty of Indigenous Medicine

The Faculty of Indigenous Medicine proudly inaugurated the Postgraduate and Mid-Career Development Unit along with its first postgraduate program, the “Postgraduate Diploma in Indigenous Orthopedic Treatment” on the 20th of May 2023. The event took place at the Faculty premises and was graced by the Chief Guest Senior Professor (Chair) H.D. Karunaratne, Vice-Chancellor of the University, along with the Dean of the Faculty, Professor Pathirage Kamal Perera, faculty staff members, and other distinguished invitees.
The main objective of the Unit is to organize and ensure the smooth functioning of postgraduate and mid-career development programs to fulfill the vision of the Faculty of Indigenous Medicine and enhance the professional skills of all stakeholders engaged in Ayurveda systems of Medicine in Sri Lanka.
