Awards ceremony of the Diploma in Forensic Medicine and Science

The Faculty of Medicine has been conducting the Diploma in Forensic Medicine and Science program for 26 years since its commencement in 1995. On May 20, 2023, the 26th Awards ceremony for the program took place at the UCFM Tower. The event celebrated the achievements of both the 2020-2021 and 2022-2023 batches, with a total of 116 students being awarded the Diploma.
The event was graced by distinguished Chief Guests, Honourable Justice Yasantha Kodagoda, Puisne Justice of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka, and Senior Professor (Chair) H.D. Karunaratne, the Vice Chancellor of the University. The event witnessed the participation of key individuals including Course Coordinator Professor Asela Mendis, Former Course Coordinator Professor Jean Perera, Deputy Course Coordinator Dr Ravindra Samaranayake, and staff members of the faculty.
