The University of Colombo International Conference 2026 (UCIC 2026) is a flagship academic event that brings together researchers, academics, students, industry partners, policymakers, and development stakeholders to share knowledge, promote innovation, and strengthen research collaboration. Organized under the theme “Advancing an Inclusive Future through AI, Sustainability and Innovation,” UCIC 2026 provides a multidisciplinary platform to showcase research that contributes to sustainable development, technological advancement, social progress, and national development.

The Student Innovation Expo & Challenge invites undergraduate and postgraduate students of the University of Colombo to showcase their pioneering work in AI, sustainability, health, digital transformation, social innovation, and beyond. This platform bridges academic research with real-world impact, featuring physical prototypes, digital tools, policy concepts, and interdisciplinary solutions. Selected participants will exhibit their innovations, demonstrate live, and present a short pitch to a distinguished judging panel.
