Inauguration: Master of Human Rights and Democratisation (Local) programme – 2016/2017

Inauguration of the third intake of the Master of Human Rights and Democratisation (Local) programme took place at the University of Colombo on 02 September 2016. The inauguration was graced by Prof. Nayani Melegoda, Acting Vice Chancellor of the University of Colombo; Prof. Camena Guneratne, Dean, Faulty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Open University of Sri Lanka; Prof. Ravindra Fernando, Director, Centre for the Study of Human Rights; Dr. Shanthi Segarajasingham, Head, Department of Commercial Law; and Ms. Wasantha Seneviratne, Deputy Director, Centre for the Study of Human Rights.

The inauguration was attended by academics of the Faculty of Law and students of the programme.
