Opening of the “Learning Commons” in the Main Library
Opening of the “Learning Commons” in the Main Library was commenced on 16th June, 2016 at 10.00 a.m. by Senior Professor Lakshman Dissanayaka, Vice Chancellor, University of Colombo. Learning commons are learning spaces similar to libraries and classrooms that share space for information technology, remote or online education, tutoring, collaboration, content creation, meetings and reading or study.
