University Celebrates Poson Poya Day 2023

The University of Colombo recently concluded a series of events that provided opportunities for spiritual enrichment and community engagement to commemorate Poson Poya Day 2023. Venerable Ududumbara Kashyapa Thero delivered the Dharma Deshana on 2^nd June 2023, and a Dansala programme was hosted on 7^th June 2023 at the College House Premises. Additionally, on 15^th June 2023, the University organized a Poson Bakthi Gee programme, performed by talented staff members, including the children from the university’s day care centre. The programme was attended by the Vice Chancellor, Senior Professor (Chair) H.D. Karunaratne, Deans of the Faculties, staff members and other distinguished guests.
