Certificate Awards Ceremony & Inauguration of the Postgraduate and Continuing Professional Development Programmes July 2023 Intake

The Awards Ceremony for the Certificate Course in Infection Prevention & Control, Certificate Course in Occupational Health & Safety, and Training Program in Clinical Genetics, offered by the Faculty of Medicine, was held on July 26, 2023, at the UCFM Tower. The Vice-Chancellor of the University, Senior Professor (Chair) H.D. Karunaratne, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Vidya Jyothi Senior Professor (Chair) Vajira H.W. Dissanayake, the Deputy Registrar of the Faculty, Mr H.M.W.G.P.R.A. Bandara, award recipients, and staff members of the Faculty were all present at the event. A total of 22 certificates were awarded to deserving individuals.
Concurrently, the inauguration ceremony for the July 2023 intake of the Master of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Postgraduate Diploma in Health Development, Certificate Course in Infection Prevention & Control, and the Training Program in Clinical Genetics offered by the faculty was also held. The keynote speech was delivered by Senior Professor (Chair) Shaman Rajindrajith, Head of the Department of Paediatrics, Faculty of Medicine.
