Awards Ceremony of the Travel & Tourism, Economics, and Hotel Management Programme
The Graduation Ceremony for the Diploma of the Travel & Tourism, Economics, and Hotel Management Programme for the year 2019/2020 was held on the 15th of May 2023 at the FGS Auditorium. The ceremony was graced by the presence of the Vice Chancellor, Senior Professor (Chair) H.D. Karunaratne, attending as the Chief Guest, and Professor Chandana Aluthge, Head of the Department of Economics was the Guest of Honor. Professor Suranga Silva, the Coordinator of the Tourism Study Programs, and the respective academic staff of the programmes also attended the ceremony.
The Diploma Programme is an industry interactive and application-oriented program involved with organizing the Sri Lanka Tourism Expo, International Tourism Leaders Summit, and Sri Lanka Tourism Job Fair.
