Visit of the Delegates from University of Warsaw, Poland
Dr Dorota Heidrich from the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies and Dean’s Representative for the Development of the English Language Programs, and Professor Jakub Zajączkowski, Professor at the Institute of International Relations, University of Warsaw, Poland visited the University of Colombo on the 15th of September 2023.
The meeting was initiated by the Vice chancellor Senior Professor (Chair) H.D. Karunaratne along with the presence of the Head of the Department of International Relations Professor Chaminda Padmakumara, former Head of the Department of International Relations Professor Maneesha S Wanasinghe Pasqual and the Director of the International Office, Professor Sashika Manoratne. The primary purpose of the delegation’s visit was to renew the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the University of Warsaw and the Department of International Relations, Faculty of Arts, University of Colombo. Further, the discussion was focused on expanding and promoting Social Science Research as well as Student and Staff exchanges between the two universities.
