Vice President University of Tokyo visits University of Colombo

Professor Hiroaki Aihara, the Vice President of University of Tokyo Japan visited University of Colombo on 16.01.2020 and met Senior Professor Chandrika N Wijeyaratne; the Vice-Chancellor of University of Colombo. During the meeting held at the Vice Chancellor’s office both Professor Aihara and Professor Wijeyaratne discussed about the possible avenues of cooperation between the two institutions. The University of Colombo and University of Tokyo are also partner Institutions under Asian Universities Alliance since 2017. Professor HD Karunartane, a former dean, Faculty of Management and Finances, University of Colombo and Dr. Sashika Manoratne, the Director, International Office accompanied the Vice-Chancellor at the meeting.
