Vice Chancellor Meets University of Nepal Leadership During Nepal Visit
On 19th May 2026, Professor Indika Mahesh Karunathilake, Vice Chancellor of the University of Colombo, met with Professor Arjun Karki, Vice Chancellor of the University of Nepal, during his visit to Kathmandu for the 2026 South Asia Leadership Policy Dialogue. Professor Karki is a distinguished Nepali physician and academic who has played a pivotal role in advancing higher education reform in Nepal.
During discussions between the two institutional leaders, Professor Karki expressed keen interest in establishing collaboration with the University of Colombo through a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at strengthening academic and institutional partnerships between the two universities.
