UOC launches Online Job portal
University of Colombo launched an Online Job Portal System “Gateway to the World of Work” on the 1st of December 2022 with the presence of the Vice Chancellor, Senior Professor (Chair) HD Karunaratna as the chief guest of the event. The event was also attended by Professor MPP Dharmadasa, the Dean of the Faculty of Management & Finance, Mr KAS Edward, the Registrar, Dr Rajitha Silva, Senior Student Counselor, Academic Career Guidance Coordinators from the facilities, members of the MBA Alumni Association, and other invitees from the cooperate sector and business organizations. The Career Guidance Unit of the university initiated this project in collaboration with companies to assist undergraduates and graduates of the university to find employability opportunities. The portal facilitates job seekers to search and apply for jobs and employers to find the most suitable candidates for their companies.
