UOC Emerges as Top-Ranked University in Sri Lanka in QS World University Rankings 2024

QS Rankings announced its QS World University Rankings 2024, the 20^th anniversary edition, on June 27^th, 2023. The QS World University Rankings evaluates universities based on various factors, including institutional research and discovery, employability and outcomes, learning experience, global engagement, and sustainability. Notably, the University of Colombo has made a significant leap in its ranking, moving up from its previous position of 1201-1400^th to 1001-1200^th among 1,500 institutions across 104 locations worldwide. This achievement establishes the University of Colombo as the top-ranked university in Sri Lanka, reflecting its remarkable progress and unwavering commitment to academic excellence.
