Inauguration Ceremony – Masters in Buddhist Studies
The Inauguration Ceremony of the Masters in Buddhist Studies (2018/2019) which is conducted by the Department of Buddhist Studies, University of Colombo, was held on 21st July 2018. Ven. Professor M. Dhammajothi Thero, Head – Department of Buddhist Studies delivered the welcome speech. The Invited Speaker was Professor Kapila Abhayawansa, Vice Rector – International Buddhist College (Thailand). Professor Premakumara De Silva, Dean, Faculty of Arts and Professor Rev. W. Wimalaratana Thero, Head – Department of Economics also delivered lectures on this occasion and Dr. Wimal Hewamanage, Senior Lecturer – Department of Buddhist Studies delivered vote of thanks.
