Launching of ‘ගුත්තිල කාව්‍යය’ and ‘උසස් පෙළ ගුත්තිල කාව්‍ය සංග්‍රහය’

The official launch of ‘ගුත්තිල කාව්‍යය’ and ‘උසස් පෙළ ගුත්තිල කාව්‍ය සංග්‍රහය’, edited by Professor Venerable Agalakada Sirisumana Thero of the Department of Sinhala, was held on July 18, 2017, at the Dr Lionel Edirisinghe Auditorium, Faculty of Music, University of Visual & Performing Arts. The publications were released by M D Gunasena Co. Ltd. The ceremony was chaired by Professor Venerable Induragare Dhammarathana Thero from the Department of Sanskrit, University of Kelaniya.
Guest lectures were delivered by Professor Kolitha Bhanu Dissanayake, Dean of the Faculty of Music, University of Visual & Performing Arts, and Professor E A Wickramasinghe, Dean of the Faculty of Language Studies, Buddhist and Pali University. The event was further graced by the presence of Senior Professor Lakshman Dissanayake, Vice Chancellor of the University of Colombo; Professor Ariyaratne Kaluarachchi, Vice Chancellor of the University of Visual & Performing Arts; and Professor Athula Ranasinghe, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, University of Colombo.
