Grant Proposal Writing Workshop by Professor Martin Persson
A workshop on grant proposal writing was held on the 8th of February 2023 at the Faculty of Graduate Studies Board Room for staff at the University. The resource person of the workshop was Professor Martin Persson from the Faculty of Health Sciences, Kristianstad University, Sweden. Martin Persson is Professor in Health Sciences and has considerable experience in coordinating and managing over 40 international projects. His research experience over the last 20 years includes epidemiological and population-based studies together with large national multicentre observational and cohort studies. He is currently involved in a European project titled nEUROcare, partnering with the Faculty of Nursing. The content of the workshop covered the importance of collaboration with different stakeholders, generating the perfect EU-based grant application, Logic Framework Model, delivering the perfect project, sustainability of projects and the need for assessing the overall impact.
