Garlanding Ceremony in Commemoration of Rabindranath Tagore
In commemoration of the 162nd birth anniversary of Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore garlanding the bust of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore organized by the Centre for Contemporary Indian Studies (CCIS) in collaboration with the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre (SVCC), High Commission of India, Colombo was held on 9th May 2023 at the Main Library, University of Colombo under the distinguished patronage of H. E. Gopal Baglay High Commissioner, High Commission of India and the Vice Chancellor of the University, Senior Professor (Chair) H.D. Karunaratne. The Director of the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre, Dean/Faculty of Graduate Studies, Registrar of the University, Librarian of the University and Secretarial staff of the Indian High Commission participated at this event as distinguished invitees.
