FIDE Online Chess Olympiad 2021 & Asian University Chess Championship 2021

The UoC is proud of our own students who will represent our country at the FIDE Online Chess Olympiad 2021, conducted by the International Chess Federation (FIDE), between 14^th August and 15^th September 2021. With more than 160 countries participating this year, Minul Sanjula Doluweera, Faculty of Medicine participates in the National Chess Team, Sri Lanka.

Asian University Sports Federation (AUSF) organizes the Asian University Chess Championship 2021 from 2^nd to 12^th September 2021. Minul Sanjula Doluweera, Faculty of Medicine, and Yasasmi Umarusiru Gamage, Faculty of Arts have been selected to represent the Sri Lankan University team by the Sri Lanka Universities Sports Association.
