A delegation from Wuhan University visited University of Colombo
Professor Xiaohui Cui, Dean, International School of Software, Miss. Sun Lin, Program Director of the International Software School, Mr. Zhou Fusheng, Admission Director of the International Education School, and Miss. Mo Fan Vice Admission Director of the International Education School, of Wuhan University, China visited University of Colombo on 26th January and met Professor Lakshman Dissanayake, Vice-Chancellor of University of Colombo, Professor K.R.R. Mahanama, Dean Faculty of Science, Professor K.P. Hewagamage, Deputy Director, University of Colombo School of Computing, Dr. Sampath Seneviratne, Director International Unit at the Vice-Chancellors’ Office. During the discussion, both parties agreed to collaborate in the areas of Computer Science, and Geography. The delegation visited the University of Colombo School of Computing (UCSC) where they met professor Gihan Wickramanayake, Director, UCSC, and the Faculty of Arts where they met, Professor Athula Ranasinghe, Dean, Faculty of Arts, Professor Lasantha Mnawdu, head, Dept. of Geography, after the meeting at the Vice-Chancellors’ Office.
