Dean’s Awards Literary 2022 - Faculty of Arts

The Faculty of Arts proudly hosted the Dean’s Literary Awards Ceremony and Talent Show on 7 September 2023, commencing at 2:00 p.m. at the New Arts Theatre (NAT). Distinguished guests in attendance included the Vice Chancellor, Senior Professor (Chair) H.D. Karunaratne, and the Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Senior Professor Lasantha Manawadu. The event’s highlight was the keynote address delivered by Senior Professor Sirimal Abeyratne from the Department of Economics within the Faculty of Arts.
This annual awards ceremony celebrated outstanding literary and creative achievements in Sinhala, Tamil, and English mediums across sixteen different categories. The awards for the year 2022 were presented to the winners, showcasing the remarkable talent within our student community.
