UOC’s Remarkable Progress in Asia University Rankings 2023
The Times Higher Education recently released its Asia University Rankings for 2023, which incorporates 13 performance indicators similar to those used in the THE World University Rankings. The Asia University Rankings assesses universities based on their core missions, which encompass teaching, research, knowledge transfer, and international outlook. The University of Colombo has demonstrated remarkable advancement in its ranking, climbing from its previous position of 201-250th to the 170th spot among 669 Asian universities representing 31 territories. This notable progress highlights the university’s dedication and efforts towards academic excellence and competitiveness within the Asian region.
