A Webinar Organized for the Final Year Students of the Faculty of Management and Finance
A webinar was conducted on “Access to Postgraduate Education and Job Opportunities in Japan” for the Final Year students of the Faculty of Management and Finance on 14th July 2022. Senior Professor H.D. Karunaratne, Vice Chancellor of the University of Colombo, Ms. Shirani Kolombage, Japanese language consultant of the University of Tokyo Sri Lanka Office, and Mr. Sachith Perera, IT consultant of the University of Tokyo Sri Lanka Office, participated as resource persons of the webinar.
Dr. Yasantha Madurapperuma, Coordinator, Academic Affairs Unit of the Faculty of Management and Finance was instrumental in organizing this webinar. The contribution made by Professor M.P.P. Dharmadasa, Dean Faculty of Management and Finance too is appreciated. Over 140 students participated in this webinar and an interactive discussion was organized with the participation of Ms. Anuradha Udawatta, who graduated from the Faculty of Management and Finance, and is currently living in Japan; in addition to which her husband Mr. Malith Dilshan Kulasekara, a Former Engineer at Nissan Technical Centre too participated in the same.
