Vice Chancellor of the University of Lucknow visits the University of Colombo
The University of Colombo hosted a delegation from the University of Lucknow, India, on the 30th June 2025. Professor Alok Kumar Rai, Vice Chancellor of the University of Lucknow, India, led the delegation which included Professor Ravindra Pratap Singh (Director, International Cell), Professor Geetanjali Mishra (Professor of Zoology and Dean Academics), Professor Keya Pandey (Professor of Anthropology), and Professor Audhesh Kumar (Professor of Commerce and Program Director, MBA, Department of Commerce).
They engaged in discussions with Professor Indika Mahesh Karunathilake, Vice Chancellor of the University of Colombo, on joint research as well as student and staff mobility between the two institutes. The university leaders also appreciated the many similarities between the universities during the discussion. Dr Iroja Caldera, Director of the International Office, University of Colombo, also took part in the discussion.
