Institute of Health and Management (IHM), Australia Explores Collaboration with the University of ColomboA delegation from the Institute of Health and Management (IHM) in Australia visited the University of Colombo on 23 June 2025 to explore potential collaborations in healthcare education and research, coordinated by the Institute of Human Resource Advancement (IHRA). Professor Indika Mahesh Karunathilake, Vice Chancellor of the University of Colombo, and Professor Sagara Chandrasekara, Director of IHRA, attended the discussions.
The dialogue focused on joint academic programs, research partnerships, and student/faculty exchange opportunities in the fields of social work, public health, nursing, and healthcare management. Both institutions expressed a strong commitment to strengthening ties between Sri Lanka and Australia in advancing healthcare education and innovation. This engagement marks a significant step toward fostering international academic cooperation and enhancing excellence in healthcare training.
