Main Students’ Union Representatives Meet Vice Chancellor to discuss key Student Issues
A productive discussion between the members of the Main Students’ Union of the University of Colombo and the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Indika Karunathilaka, was held on 16th June 2025 at the College House premises.
During the meeting, the students raised key concerns related to their hostels, accommodation, transport facilities, IT infrastructure, and lecture hall conditions. The Vice-Chancellor attentively listened to the issues presented and assured the student representatives that necessary interventions would be made to address and resolve these problems. This meeting signifies the University’s continued commitment to enhancing the student experience through collaborative dialogue and proactive engagement with the student body.
