Faculty of Indigenous Medicine Opens Panchakarma Day Treatment Unit at Ayurveda National Hospital
The Faculty of Indigenous Medicine officially launched its Panchakarma Day Treatment Unit at the Ayurveda National Hospital on 19th September 2025. As part of the event, the name boards of the professorial units were ceremonially unveiled. The occasion was graced by Professor Indika Mahesh Karunathilake, Vice-Chancellor of the University, together with Professor Pathirage Kamal Perera, Dean of the Faculty, the Director of the Postgraduate Institute of Indigenous Medicine, the Commissioner General of Ayurveda, the Director of the Ayurveda National Hospital, distinguished faculty members, and students of both the Faculty of Indigenous Medicine and the PG-IIM.
