9th International Conference on Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and Traditional Medicine and Triphala International Research Symposium AyurEx Colombo 2023
The International Conference on Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and Traditional Medicine (iCAUST 2023) and the ‘Triphala’ International Research Symposium took place as a hybrid conference from September 8th to 10th, 2023, at BMICH. Senior Professor (Chair) H.D. Karunaratne, the Vice-Chancellor, University graced the event as the Chief Guest. Professor Pathirage Kamal Perera, Dean of the Faculty of Indigenous Medicine, served as the conference’s chief organizer, while Dr. Dammika Abeygunawardhana, Commissioner of Ayurveda, held the role of co-organizer. Professor Bhushan Patwardhan, the National Research Professor for the Ministry of AYUSH in India, delivered the keynote speech titled ‘Catalyzing Ancient Wisdom and Modern Science for the Health of People and the Planet’.
