Vice Rector of University of Warsaw, Poland visits University of Colombo

A delegation led by Vice-Rector Professor Maciej Duszczyk, University of Warsaw, Poland visited University of Colombo on 10th December 2019. Professor Danuta Stasik; Head of South Asia Studies, Faculty of Oriental Studies and Professor Agata Bareja Starzynska; Head of Inner Asia Department, Faculty of Oriental Studies accompanied the Vice-Rector for the visit. On behalf of University of Colombo, Professor KRR Mahanama; The Acting Vice-Chancellor welcomed the delegation and he was accompanied by Dr. Nishara Fernando; acting Dean, Faculty of Arts and Dr. Maneesha Paquale; Head of the Department of International Relations, University of Colombo. During the meeting held at the Vice Chancellor’s Office, both parties discussed other potential arenas of cooperation, so the two institutions can take the existing partnership into new heights. Following the meeting at the Vice Chancellor’s office, the delegation visited Faculty of Arts. The meeting was organized by the International Office of University of Colombo.
