The Launch of the First Issue: Colombo Economic Journal (CEJ)
The first issue of the Colombo Economic Journal (CEJ) of the Department of Economics was officially launched on June 8, 2023, in the Faculty Board Room, Faculty of Arts. The CEJ is a biannually published, peer-reviewed academic journal that welcomes theoretical and empirical research articles covering a broad spectrum of topics in economics. The launching ceremony was held in the presence of Vice-Chancellor Senior Professor (Chair) H.D. Karunaratne, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Senior Professor L. Manawadu, the Head of the Department of Economics Professor Chandana Aluthge, and other invited distinguished guests.
