Staff Community Organises Annual Poson Kadala Dansala for the Fourth Consecutive Year
To commemorate Poson Poya Day 2025, the staff community of the University of Colombo organised the Poson Kadala Dansala for the fourth consecutive year on 18th June 2025 at the College House premises. The event commenced with the observance of Pañca Śīla, led by Venerable Professor Agalakada Sirisumana Thero of the Department of Sinhala, Faculty of Arts.
The occasion was further enriched by the presence of the Vice Chancellor, Professor Indika Karunathilake, along with the Registrar, Bursar, staff members, students, and members of the general public. A large number of participants from both within and outside the University joined the event, reflecting the strong communal spirit and shared cultural values. The enthusiasm and warm participation of all attendees significantly contributed to the success of the event.
