Sri Palee Campus Welcomes 211 New Undergraduate Students for the 2021/2022 academic year
The inaugural ceremony for the new entrants to the Sri Palee Campus, pursuing the Bachelor of Mass Media and Performing Arts programmes for the 2021/2022 academic year, took place on July 20th, 2023, at Arundathi Hall, Sri Palee Campus, welcoming 211 new undergraduate students. The ceremony was graced by the Chief Guest, Senior Professor (Chair) H.D. Karunaratne, Vice Chancellor of the University. The welcome speech was delivered by Dr Prathibha Mahanamahewa, Rector of the Sri Palee Campus. Dr Rajitha Silva, Senior Student Counselor of the University, and Mr KAS Edward, Registrar of the University, also addressed the gathering. The ceremony was attended by the Heads of the respective Departments, administrative members, and staff members of the Sri Palee Campus. The event was adorned with traditional dance performances by a group of dance students from the Sri Palee Campus. Mrs Kalani Dharmasiri, the Permanent Student Counselor delivered the vote of thanks for the ceremony.
