Postgraduate Convocation 2024 – Convocation Date
Dear Graduand,
The University of Colombo hereby wishes to inform that the Postgraduate Convocation will be held as scheduled. Those who are not able to attend the convocation due to the prevailing weather conditions in the country, the degree will be conferred in absentia.
The distribution of postgraduate cloaks and garlands scheduled for 28th November 2025 has been postponed to 1st December 2025 (Monday) at the General Administration Branch, College House, University of Colombo.
Furthermore, only those who are unable to collect their cloaks and garlands on the above date due to valid and unavoidable reasons, and who are not in the first session, may collect them on the day of the convocation by reporting to the General Administration Division, College House, at least two (2) hours prior to the commencement of their relevant session.
