Out-Bound Training (OBT) Program for Captains and Vice-captains
An Out-Bound Training (OBT) program was held for Captains and Vice Captains of all sports and games of the University to enhance their leadership skills on 28th of May 2022. Student representatives from the Sri Palee Campus, Institute of Indigenous Medicine, Faculty of Technology, and Faculty of Nursing were also present at the program which highlighted the inclusivity of the program. The program consisted of valuable lessons learnt through activities which were based on the concept of “Learning by doing” and under the guidance of the Vice-Chancellor, Senior Professor (Chair) H. D. Karunaratne, The Chairman of the Sports Board, Dr. Kapila Bandara, Acting Director, Mr. Sanjeewa Jayasinghe and the dedicated Instructors of the Department of Physical Education.
