Launch of the Volume “Anagarika Dharmapala and India – Sri Lanka Relations”
The Centre for Contemporary Indian Studies (CCIS) of the University of Colombo launched the volume titled Anagarika Dharmapala and India – Sri Lanka Relations edited by Prof. Sandagomi Coperahewa, Director | CCIS on 11th February 2016 at 3.30 pm at the Senate Hall, College House, University of Colombo.
Hon. Dr. Sarath Amunugama, the Minister of Special Assignments graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour. Mr. Arindam Bagchi, the Deputy High Commissioner of India, Senior Professor Lakshman Dissanayake, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Colombo, Prof. Nayani Melegoda, the Dean | FGS were among the distinguished guests. Officials of the Anagarika Dharmapala Trust, Mahabodhi Society, Sri Lanka All Ceylon Buddhist Congress, Deans of the faculties, Professors and other academics also attended the function.
