The University of Colombo Review (UCR) (Series III) is a double-blind peer-reviewed scholarly journal that publishes articles from all academic disciplines. It is an open-access journal which abides by internationally accepted research and publication ethics, and is funded, hosted and published by the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka, as its flagship scholarly publication. The journal is steered by an independent editorial board that consists of members nominated by each faculty of the University and approved by the University Senate. It also has an international advisory board that is similarly constituted. It is currently published bi-annually in May and November, in both print and online formats.


The ColomboArts Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities is the biannual on-line journal of the Faculty of Arts, University of Colombo. Its intention is to provide a platform for informative and thought-provoking research papers, conceptual papers, technical papers, case research and book reviews that specialize in social sciences and humanities. Articles are peer-reviewed by subject specialists and published in June and December each year under ISSN 2536-894X. Consistent with the vision of the Faculty of Arts, the journal aims to be a platform of excellence in creative thinking, teaching, research and community outreach in the South Asian region.


Colombo Journal of Multi-disciplinary Research (CJMR), a refereed publication, dedicated to publish articles, reviews, and scholarly comments relating to any field of studies. The Journal is a multi-disciplinary, innovative and international in its approach. It will include theoretical and conceptual articles as well as more empirical studies covering both historical and contemporary issues/ events. CJMR is published by the Faculty of Graduate Studies, University of Colombo.


The Colombo Business Journal (CBJ) is a double-blind peer-reviewed scholarly journal that publishes articles discussing phenomena related to business, management, and organisations, which are of local, regional, and global relevance. It is an open-access journal published bi-annually (June and December), in both print and online formats, adhering to globally accepted scholarly research standards and publication ethics. It is funded, hosted, and published by the Faculty of Management and Finance, University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. Editorial decision making of the CBJ is vested in an Editorial Board comprising local and international editors representing different subject areas of business and management. Papers published in the CBJ are available from the website of the journal as well as the Sri Lanka Journals Online (SLJOL) website.


The Sri Lanka Journal of International Law is a refereed journal published annually by the Faculty of Law of the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. From 2006 onwards, two issues have been published per year. Publication in this Journal is valid for purposes of academic accreditation. The Journal is listed in the periodical indexes of Ulrich and Lex Opus.


The Student Medical Journal (SJM) of the Faculty of Medicine is a peer-reviewed journal published annually by the students under the guidance of the staff of the faculty and is yet another innovative step by our faculty to facilitate undergraduate research endeavours. The Student Medical Journal is amongst the few journals in the world dedicated exclusively to publishing research by medical undergraduates.
