Strengthening Global Partnerships: Yunnan Agricultural University and University of Colombo Collaborate

A delegation from Yunnan Agricultural University, led by Professor Zhao Zhengxiong, Vice President, along with Professor Xiao Jingxiu, Faculty of Natural Resources and Environment, and Associate Professor Sun Kang, Section Chief of the International Affairs Office, visited the University of Colombo on 23 September 2025. The delegation met with Professor Indika Mahesh Karunathilake, Vice Chancellor of the University of Colombo, Professor R U K Piyadasa, Dean of the Faculty of Technology, and Dr Iroja Caldera, Director of the International Office.
The meeting focused on an upcoming bilateral collaboration with the Faculty of Technology and explored additional opportunities for future cooperation between the two universities.
