Faculty of Technology Welcomes 324 Fresh Undergraduates for the 2021/2022 academic year

The inaugural ceremony for new entrants to the Faculty of Technology for the academic year 2021/2022 was held on August 2^nd, 2023, at the New Art Theater (NAT). The faculty welcomed more than 324 new undergraduate students across four departments: Agricultural Technology, Environmental Technology, Instrumentation & Automation Technology, and Information & Communication Technology. The ceremony was graced by the Chief Guest, Senior Professor (Chair) H.D. Karunaratne, who is also the Vice Chancellor of the University. The welcome speech was delivered by Professor R.U.K Piyadasa, the Dean of the Faculty of Technology. Dr U. M. Aruna Kumara, Senior Lecturer and Coordinator of the orientation program presented the vote of thanks for the ceremony.
