Delegation from Shandong Province, China visited University of Colombo
A delegation led by Mr. Xue Qingguo, the Director General of Foreign Affairs Office of Shandong Provincial People’s Government and the President of Shandong People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries visited University of Colombo on 03rd August 2017.
During the visit the delegation met Professor Lakshman Dissanayake , Vice Chancellor of University of Colombo and discussed about the possible arenas of collaborations between University of Colombo and Shandong People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and Shandong Women’s University .
The members of the Shandong People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and Ms. Song Xiaoxia , the Deputy Dean of the Music School ,Shandong Women’s University were among the delegates.
Professor Rev. W. Wimalarathana, Head, Dept. of Economics, Dr. Suranga Silva, Senior Lecturer, Dept. of Economics, Dr. Kokila Konasinghe, Director of the International Office, University of Colombo and Mr. Upali Ratnayake , Director , Tourism Planning and Development, Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority also participated at the meeting.
