Delegation from National Sun Yat Sen University, Taiwan visits University of Colombo
An eighteen-member delegation led by Prof. Chih-Wen Kuo; Vice President for International Affairs, Institute of Communications Engineering/ Office of International Affairs, National Sun Yat-Sen University, Taiwan visited the University of Colombo on 5th December 2017. The purpose of the visit is to explore the possible arenas of academic collaboration between the two universities. The delegation met Professor Lakhsman Dissanayake, Vice Chancellor of the University, Dr Pradeep Darmadasa, Dean of the Faculty of Management and Finance, Professor Reverend Wimalarathana, Head of the Department of Economics, Professor Wipula Yapa, Head of the Department of Zoology, Dr Chandrika Nanayakkara, Head, Department of Plant Sciences, and Dr Kokila Konasinghe, Director, International Office and discussed the possible avenues of cooperation between the two universities, during the visit.
