This ten-day programme combines the content of the previous Stage I and Stage II courses into a comprehensive training.
Programme Details:
- Total Programme Duration: 12 days (including the placement test and final examination dates)
- Mode of Delivery: Hybrid ( 6 online sessions and 4 physical (on-site) sessions)
- Commencement: 26th May 2026
- Time: 1.00 p.m. – 4.00 p.m.
- Venue (On-site sessions): Staff Development Centre, University of Colombo.
Placement Test:
- Date: 19th May 2026
- Time: 1.00 p.m. – 3.00 p.m.
- Venue: Faculty of Graduate Studies, University of Colombo.

Eligibility to register
Open to staff members working in administrative support roles (E.g., Management Assistants, Library Information Assistants)
Participants who have successfully completed the Workshop Series on Administrative English are not eligible to apply.
Course Fee:
- Permanent Staff (University of Colombo – excluding institutes’ staff): Free
- Institute Staff /Temporary Staff (University of Colombo): Rs. 6,000.00
- Participants from other universities: Rs. 12,000.00
Certification: Participants who successfully complete the workshop series with a minimum of 75% attendance and obtain 50% or above in the assignment and final examination will be awarded a certificate.
