Professional Course on Capacity Building on Research and Data Analysis using SPSS 2020

The Department of Demography of the Faculty of Arts will be conducting a four-day workshop on research and data analysis using SPSS for Successful Data/Statistical Analysis Career in the month of January/February 2020 with the expertise available within the department. This course is especially meant for graduate students and those who wants career advancement with data/statistical analyses, the industry personnel interested in learning new statistical methodologies to identify patterns in their customer databases to aid decision making, researchers struggling with a data set for a long time to discover a new path for better interpretation of their data, university academics who want to refine their statistical model building skills, individuals who are interested in progressing their data analysis skills to an advanced level. The programme will be conducted by Senior Professor Lakshman Dissanayake, Professor Swarna Ukwatte and Dr. Manori Weeratunga.
