Commencement of Duties for the Year 2022
University of Colombo ceremonially commenced duties in the New Year on 3rd of January 2022, with a special function at the College house premises by adhering to the prescribed health and safety guidelines. The ceremony was attended by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Chandrika N Wijeyaratne, Deans, Directors, and Administrative officers of the university. The function commenced with the hoisting of the National and University flags by the Vice Chancellor and Registrar, followed by the signing of the National Anthem. This was followed by the reading of the public servants’ oath by the Registrar.
