Climate Literacy Conclave for South Asia
‘Climate Literacy Conclave for South Asia’ was a 2-day webinar held on April 15 and 16, 2021, with the programme of Day 1 targeting policymakers and Day 2 targeting youth voices. The event was organized jointly by The Climate Reality Project India, Earth Day Network, and Mobius Foundation to mark the anniversary of Earth Day on 22nd April 2021 and to have a dialogue on the importance of climate change education. The Day 1 of the webinar included key speakers from different South Asian countries, and Prof. Erandathie Lokupitiya from the Faculty of Science, University of Colombo was also invited as a guest speaker. The webinar was attended by over 200 participants from different countries in South Asia.
