Celebrating Excellence: University of Colombo Shines at Best Annual Report Awards 2026

The University of Colombo achieved significant recognition at the Best Annual Report Awards 2026, organised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka), held on 5 February 2026 at the BMICH, Colombo. This prestigious achievement underscores the University’s strong commitment to good governance, transparency, and accountability in financial reporting and institutional management.
At the ceremony, the University secured the Silver Medal in the University Category and the Bronze Medal at the Overall Central Government Level, competing against leading public-sector institutions across the country. In addition, the Institute of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology & Biotechnology (IBMBB) and the Postgraduate Institute of Medicine (PGIM) were also recognised, each receiving the Bronze Medal in the University Category.
