The University of Colombo Annual Research Symposium 2012 will be held on 16th and 17th August 2012 on the theme “Converging Technologies & Sustainable Communities.” The inaugural session will take place at the Senate Hall of the University of Colombo on 16th August 2012 from 8.30 am to 4.00 pm.

Honourable Judge Prof. C.G. Weeramantry, Founder of the Weeramantry International Centre for Peace Education and Research, and former Vice President, International Court of Justice, and the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka will deliver the keynote address on “Sustainable Development and Codes of Scientific Conduct”.
