Academic writing skills workshop – CSHR
An academic writing skills workshop was organised by the Centre for the Study of Human Rights for students of the Master of Human Rights Programme and staff of the CSHR & Faculty of Law, on 14 & 15 June 2019. Academic writing entails more than just good writing skills. It is a combination of reading ability, critical thinking and academic research, among other things. The aim of this workshop was to provide some ‘insights’ into academic writing. It is intended that participants take-away some learning tools and the way forward, to further improve their academic writing skills.
