HRDC Hosts Presentation Skills Development Workshop
The Human Resource Development Centre (HRDC) conducted the Presentation Skills Development Workshop on 24th November and 19th December 2025, marking the final session of the Certificate in Teaching in Higher Education (CTHE) course. This course is delivered in accordance with SEDA (UK) standards, providing participants with internationally recognised teaching competencies.
The final session focused on the unit on seminar presentations and assessment, during which participants were trained to develop and deliver effective academic presentations. The workshop was designed to methodically enhance lecturers’ teaching and presentation skills, equipping them with practical strategies to engage learners and improve instructional effectiveness.
The programme was organised for the 28th batch of CTHE participants at the HRDC premises and was facilitated by the Director of the Centre, Senior Professor S P Premaratne.
