IHRA Celebrates 50 Years of Excellence in Human Resource Advancement
The Institute of Human Resource Advancement (IHRA) proudly celebrated its 50th Anniversary on 16th June 2025, marking five decades of unwavering commitment to human resource development and lifelong learning.
The commemorative event, held at the IHRA Auditorium from 9.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m., was graced by the esteemed presence of Dr Kumari Jayawardena, the founding figure of the Institute. Adding further significance to the occasion, Professor Indika Mahesh Karunathilake, Vice Chancellor of the University of Colombo, also joined the celebration. The event brought together a distinguished audience, including former Directors of IHRA, Deans from various faculties, academic staff, retired members of the Institute, and students. Their presence underscored the deep impact IHRA has made over the years in advancing knowledge and empowering individuals through education.
As IHRA marks this golden milestone, the Institute reflects on its legacy with pride and looks ahead with renewed vision and purpose.
